Bikemessenger24 was founded in 2021 with the goal of providing couriers with a good additional income.
From the beginning, the founders have made sure to offer couriers as fair conditions as possible.
However, we don’t have a large advertising budget, so we appreciate your active support. We’re happy to send you flyers/stickers if you’d like to promote your service in your neighborhood.
In January 2025, we’ll be creating several interfaces with retail, which will allow us to provide you with even more tasks.

Do we have an employment contract?
No, as a courier, you either work as an independent contractor (if you’re working solo), or you work for one of our partner companies, which hires you with an employment contract in their company (e.g., courier company, taxi service, or other companies that cooperate with us)
Will vehicles/bikes/cargo bikes or equipment be provided by you?
When can I expect the most jobs/order?
In principle, you can expect the most orders during regular business hours (between 8 AM and 8 PM).
However, it’s also possible to receive orders outside of these hours, such as at midnight or early in the morning at 4 AM.
Note: As long as you are logged in and marked as available in our system, customers can assign orders to you.
We are planning to integrate some online retailers in january 2025 to generate more orders.
How does the order/job assignment work?
All couriers who are logged into the app and marked as available will be automatically contacted in the city area through our app “BikeMessenger24” with an alert and a push notification. The courier who accepts the job first (by pressing “Accept”) will receive the assignment and must complete it.
Where do deliveries take place?
We only offer inner-city deliveries. This means you pick up and deliver within your city area.
Can BikeMessenger24 also be used by courier providers/delivery providers with multiple employees or couriers, or even by collectives that form a team?
Yes, this is also possible. If an order comes in, you, as a dispatcher, can accept it and assign it to one of your employed couriers.
However, it is important that your employee is logged into the app from the time the order is assigned until the delivery is completed.
Are there fixed working hours that I need to follow?
There are no fixed working hours.
Once an order comes in, you have the opportunity to accept it within a maximum of 15 minutes, as long as it hasn’t been accepted by another courier first. The order will disappear from our system after 15 minutes.
What types of orders can I expect?
You can expect all types of inner-city deliveries that fall within your capacity.
From A for files to Z for dentures, we can deliver anything.
– Up to 20 lbs as a pedestrian courier
– Up to 20 lbs as a scooter courier
– Up to 10-20 lbs as a bike courier
– Up to 100 lbs as a cargo bike courier
– Up to 200 lbs as a car courier
– Up to 400 lbs as a small van courier
What can I do to get more orders/jobs?

Do I need to provide an invoice to every customer?
No, the software handles that for you. You will, of course, receive the invoice by email as well. This eliminates the hassle of writing invoices…

Why do I need to set up a payout account (connected account with Stripe)?
Because it is required by law.
The customer pays you directly, and we cannot access your delivery fee. This means that when the customer pays, the money is deposited directly into your account.
If BikeMessenger24 were to go bankrupt, the money owed to you would be 100% secured.
Why do I need to link my credit card?
So we can automatically settle with you at the end of the month.
You will, of course, always receive an invoice by email. We charge you 25% of your earnings (what your customers pay you) and automatically deduct this amount from your credit card.
What do courier customers pay?
We base our prices on the two largest local competitors.
A price list will be published on the respective city page of BikeMessenger24 once your account has been activated.

Where can I see how much I’ve earned so far?
Directly in the BikeMessenger24 app under:
Job History -> here you can see all jobs, including your earnings.
When will I receive my payouts?
You will receive the payment from your customer directly into your account after completing the job. You will also receive an automatic email notification from the payment service provider.
How does BikeMessenger24 make money?
The money your customer pays is yours 100% without deductions, directly after completing your job.
We at BikeMessenger24 will issue an invoice at the end of the month for 25% of your earnings as a service fee.
